Am I missing something?
Doesn't that mean that your car is still in warranty? I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks. |

Firstly would get independant quote, surley by now some secondhand turbos must be kicking around which would work out a lot cheaper.

There are TDV6's that have done 270k on original turbo etc, personally I think it unacceptable to fail at such an early age and low mileage. Surely at 2yrs old, a UK spec / UK supplied car ,should still be under manufacturers full, unlimited mileage, 3 yr warranty whether second hand or not. I have to say I'm a little surprised by it all.... I'll make a few more enquiries tomorrow but I'm starting to wonder about that hst now! Thanks everyones help up to now. Cheers |

I would do what VA said. When I had problems with my first D3 I wrote to Geoff Polites (now deceased) he was the CEO of Jag & LR it was a much different experience and result to dealing with LRCS. Be reasoned, polite and firm in how you want it resolved - good luck. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate |

I am very very surprised LR hasn't honoured this repair as previously they have with similar claims. I personally had stuff covered when my old RRS was out of the 3 year warranty. Do you think your service centre is pushing hard enough? 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
