Yes, the actual fault is only a diagnosis. I have to say that since the fault cleared itself (indeed, before I originally took the vehicle in to Hunters), that it hasn't re-occurred. No noise, no loss of power, no oil consumption, no black smoke on acceleration....

Over here from Disco3 as that site is not playing for me!!! havnt read all of this but I have 2 x 06 D3 TDV6s that both had failed turbos just (few weeks) outside of warranty. Luckily took out Tesco extended warranty and that saved my financial bacon. Generally advice on t'other site is don't go out of warranty without some sort of extended cover. Tesco gets a general
