Yes I have just put half a litre in, see how that goes, I have had to go my local Indy dealer to get the correct oil, no one else had any. |

No, DON"T add any oil until the car tells you to!

I spoke to the garage this morning and he told me the oil level should be near the top of the oil gauge on the dash, not on the minimum mark, to be honest I never saw what it was saying to add this morning only that it was on the minimum mark, looking on line I see most people’s oil check on the dash is near the top. |

The manual also says to check the level with a warm engine, not a cold engine. 2011 RRS HSE Luxury 3.0 TDV6 Fuji White on Ebony/Ivory

Yes a warm engine seems to give a slightly higher oil reading |

If I remember correctly its 125ml per each increment on the dash |
