OK, hopefully nearly over the finish line hahaha Thumbs Up all the dash messages seem to have disappeared BUT car drives with no turbo, it goes through the gears eventually but no turbo/boost, seems very very flat when driving it. RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey

Well I don't know how you have done that Confused


Air leak at the top of the engine somewhere ? on parts you have touched.
Would be a significant hole though

normally it's hand work to rev engines at idle when the turbo's not doing anything, but I doubt its that bad?

Oddly, I have one in just now with what sounds like exactly the same fault Laughing

Similarly issue, cam tensioner bolt was left lose. Pistons met valves, heads damaged, reworked and refitted, been flat as a fart ever since...
Had a new turbo too, no difference

Timing is bang on, no fault codes, nothing obviously wrong with it...

You could recheck the timing, to see if its still as good as you set it to.

Went round the many things we have bolted together including pipework, air hoses etc etc; and re-tightened everything and it seemed to work as took for a drive and turbo kicked in. Engine management light still on though, possible EGR's?. Booked in for an MOT tomorrow, see how it goes Thumbs Up RRS 2.7 HSE Stornoway Grey
