The main one is the big hose coming out from the front right side of the engine which comes up from the intercooler. You can access the other end of this through a panel in the wheel arch which is held in by plastic rivet things. This is the most common one to fail but the others have been known to go too.

I'm assuming the car is not remapped, as this can cause some smoke?

Sorry. It's down low behind the bumper, beneath the radiator. The two larger hoses connect into it (at the back).

I'm not sure there is a readily available solution for 3.6 TDV8 blanking (yet). I imagine it would have to involve a software patch as is the case with the EU4 TDV6.

well i just noticed that when engine cold (after night) and i start engine after 2-4 seconds exhaust gives a lot of smoke and engine hardly accepts throttle. but after 2-3 sec everything becomes normal.

Blanking, if possible, would always be the best option, so it would be nice. I would imagine it is being worked on by someone. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Just found this which implies it has been done. Might be worth speaking to Gary @ Alive Tuning about it. Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 Auto HSE Zambezi Silver |
