I got my originals from sparky on the forum but been having trouble with my near side headlight recently when it does the self levelling jig on start up it doesn't always come back up and stays facing down so got some more lights and Sparky hasn't got anymore so I've got the Dabhees version but might try removing the diffusers over the led's for a cleaner look.

that's gonna be difficult TrevG without some sort of resistor. My DRL's dim when the headlights are on so it would make sense. I'll wire them to the ignition live and then do some testing to see if they are too bright at night when the headlights are on. If they are, I'll have to make the change you suggest. Cheers. This thread along with watching some videos of disassembling headlights has given me the confidence to try this.

Just a little update. The rings arrived and they turned out to be useless. Two of the led's on one ring stopped working after an hour. Simply wasn't confident in the other three after that. British quality at its finest. No wonder I outsource a load of my work further East. Anyway, I ordered then the dabhees rings and they are excellent quality. I took the reflectors off and wrapped them in carbon fibre film. End result:

it's a job and a half, can't wait to get it finished. I'm painting the internals carbon black just to make it more difficult for myself Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
