This is what I used Luke, its an auto switch that works when you start/stop engine, pretty simple to fit.

Sparky, have you connected yours to the indicators? the switch i purchased can also be connected to the indicators. though to be honest i'm not sure if its a necessary feature. I'll toy around at the weekend. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project. DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights. TO DO: color code sills and pillars. |

i've seen so many bad examples also Daz so I've gotta be careful not to end up with anything tacky. All I know is that I need to match the color temperature of the angel eyes, drl's and headlights. i havent seen any of the ebay services that provide angel eyes that come close to the originals. the only ones were from Sparky, i.e 5 led's per ring. and they charge £300 for the service, for an angel eye that costs £15 to buy. of course they paint the internals, but a tin of paint costs £10. Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.

Very interested to see the ones you got. I asked the seller's on ebay what led they used. I enjoy got back with: They are manufactured in the UK by Ring Automotive with Star LEDs.

i've just got back in from wiring these in. the glue is setting so i won't be able to take any piccies until tuesday when i refit the bumper. however, the light, at 6500k, is clear white. not an ounce of blue from what i can see, and if there were then they'd be straight in the bin!

Great, I've seen your attention to detail mate, you will do a great job I'm sure. What was the brand you got and have you a link? Would love to get the same ones - did you spray the back off them? |

few piccies as i go. first two of the drl's in situ. the black mesh, if anyone is wondering, is not from Meduza but is instead from eBay:

i'm also applying the black aluminium mesh to the top horizontal air vent on the Meduza bumper. Anyone who has this bumper knows there are (or were, in my case) two vertical strips in this opening. i've cut these away as i think they're ugly. The rectangular boxes in the piccie below show where they were located.
