Hi Gaz,

Thanks for the advice i will definately take that into account when modifying my own.

Now just need to look for the right LEDs to fit, ive had a look at the Dabhees LED rings, they look great but just a little too much glare from the LEDs in my opinion, i prefer the LEDs like tanloverluke's but its a hassle creating them.

Any suggestions. Thanks again

Well....there is an option of making the Dabhees half as bright.
Each led ring has a black negative wire and a red and a white wire.
Join the red and white together for max brightness or just use the red.
You could also try and remove the plastic diffusers. Thumbs Up I was born with a photographic memory. Shame it didn't develop!

hmm will look into that, thanks for that.

It looks as though I've found the same LEDs as Sparky's, I prefer these as they don't give off as much glare and look neater.

I've emailed them regarding pricing/delivery etc. and where they are based?, If the price is right I will order a set, will keep you posted.

thanks for all your help!! Thumbs Up

I think Sparky was getting them made by someone by I could be mistaken.
As with all of our photos, it does not do the LEDs justice.
It's difficult to get a good shot and it also depends on the daylight levels.
I love mine.
I see people checking them out when I'm driving! Thumbs Up I was born with a photographic memory. Shame it didn't develop!

Hi Gaz,

They have replied regarding prices etc.. It costs £89.99 delivered. Because of the good price and them being identical to Sparky's LEDs, I have purchased a set so will be looking forward to delivery tomorrow.

In the meantime i will gather everething i need for the project and will carry it out on the weekend, i have a freind who is an electrician so will have him help me with the electrical side of things.

Will let you know how it goes.. Martin.B
