Yep, I managed to get the free 3 years servicing thrown in as well. Although mine is not owned by the company it is used almost exclusively for business trips. Free servicing must be worth a couple of grand I would have thought.

If only you could get rid of things that kill you round every corner it'd almost be worth living there!

I got rid of the RRS primarily because I moved into a new job where my mileage ramped up from about 400 miles/month to 2000 miles/month and the running costs became unsustainable, especially at the rate I seemed to go through brakes and tyres. I've always been a BMW driver - the RRS was my first non-BMW in about 10 yrs, so I moved from the RRS into a 535d. Then a second sprog came along and coincided with my first sprog going off to school, costing money in the process. Now, we've just moved house which, while bigger needs lots doing to it. The end result is I can no longer be spending money on cars that I want to buy, thus the crapmobile... But it's OK - gutless, but as someone said to me the other day (who knows nowt about cars), it's still a BMW... I'd much rather be driving around in something else, but needs must and all that 2009 Outstanding Contribution Award - Joint Runner Up 2009 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award - Runner Up Like it here? B, if the 535d ever makes landfall in the colonies I suggest the first thing you go out and do is buy one Fantastic engine: unbelievable that it's a diesel really and as an overtaking vehicle was unsurpassed by anything else I've ever owned, even my M3.

BKHK - I managed to get what i thought was a good discount from MLR on my brand new TDV6, but I wasn't trading anything in as the HSV had been stolen. Included the 3 years servicing as well. Which salesperson were you dealing with?
