Tastech

Great news. Fridays are a good day! I have done 600km in the last week (more than my normal) So far, really happy with the car. I have had a couple of 100km journeys. 9.3L/100km so far which for a new tight engine is excellent. Dealer says economy and performance improves with kms.

Post some pics and let me know how you go. Off on a business trip overseas for a few days now so RRS is tucked up until late next week. I will miss driving her.

Yeah i have a big smile on my face...I have 500 on the clock now and she is only down to a 1/4 tank...as BKHK said the consumption will improve...but i love not having to look for a petrol station every time you sneeze...

She goes well once she is on the bit...but its that dead zone that is a little scary when pulling into traffic, i have to adjust my driving style or rather starting style...my old monaro meant i just pushed harder on the go pedal...

My favourite feature is the seat and wheel moving back when the key comes out...

ok i need clues on how to post pics...do you load them into a gallery??? Toyota Corolla...Sad((((

shift into drive, flick to the left into sport mode, floor it, it goes then a tad quicker Thumbs Up However your fuel consumption would not be so frugal.. Smile Glad you are enjoying it.

To post pictures, upload them into the gallery on the site, you can set your own albums up, copy and past the bbcode into your post and voila your pride and joy is there for everyone to see Thumbs Up

Do a quick search on here, there are more detailed posts on how to load pictures.

Thanks

now i can show you why my car took 6 months...you see they had to build the roof mounted lighthouse i ordered

and from another view sans the lighthouse...for day tripping no lights required...

Very nice, now you can get it dirty up at Stockton one weekend or perhaps Lithgow State forest Thumbs Up

Who did you buy it through, i know Trivetts provide off-road days for their customers so they can see the vehicles capabilities, i purchased from Alto i am afraid, so get stuff all in terms of off-road day ventures thrown in.

Cheers

Jim

I got mine through alto as well. They were quite good on the pricing...unlike trivett who had BMW like discounts...would sir like a magnifying glass to see that ???

Well I would rather the discount....but having the said that they throw in a years memberhip of the Range Rover Club of NSW...(maybe you had that too???) who seem to organise a few trips...a year

But like you said if you want to go up to stockton i am up for it...just gotta tee a mate when we go, to help with digging and pushing Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

But i am a absolute beginner...so i was thinking i better get onto a sand driving course first...else i would be quite a hinderance... Toyota Corolla...Sad((((

I went up there yesterday, look at my post in the ANZ forum, the Sport handled it with minimum fuss, only dug the front wheels in once, just required low range and a bit of welly and it was free.

Apparently the Range Rover or is it Land Rover owners club have Sand Driving courses at Stockton on the 31st May. May join up and go...
