United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black
Steering vibration at 70mph + and pulsing brake pedal

Guys I have a strange problem Iv being trying to sort for a few weeks now.

I have a constant pulsing through the break pedal when applying the brakes and a steering wheel wobble at 70mph +.

So far I have done the following:

New front discs and pads

Replaced the rear upper arms as a bush had failed

Balanced all wheels

4 wheel alignment.

The front lower arms bushes were replaced with poly bushes about 2000miles a go.

Any other ideas?

The wheels are specificly designed for rr and load rated not cheap Chinese wheels it was 22 wheels that was on it when I got it the wobble has only started past few weeks was fine when new wheels were fitted it’s also Goodyear eagle f1 tyres I’ve had all wishbones and track rods replaced and 4 wheel alignment done by lr and new wheels bearings could it be the steering rack I’ve read on an old post something about a valve on steering rack

It was fine with 22” wheels previous so not the wheels that’s the problem and there is loads of people run 22” wheels

For what it is worth for both of you, try swapping the alloys front to back just as part of the elimination process.

Mine does this too. Not always, it appears to be when it’s cold and improves when it’s warm. If I go faster it disappeares. Had all 4 wheels checked twice and I’m now thinking steering rack as it only appears to happen in a straight line. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
