I think. like many professions, no-one wants to give advice in fear on being on the end of litigation when its the wrong decision.

That's what Ive told the garage I purchased it from, but its madness that Land Rover cannot rectify the fault and cant even diagnose it.

Did they replace the fuel pressure sensor in the end? Also, it would help if you could get the fault codes from the technicians & let us know them. Have they ruled out the EGR valves or is it definitely low fuel pressure? 2006 TDV6 SE, Zermatt Silver |

The fault code related to something called Fuel Deviation. It seems to happen intermittently and also under load, as it seems ok on a ramp running the car.

Checked, Fuel Pressure Sensor has been replaced also, checking on the actual fault code but am sure he said it was fuel deviation. They have checked the fuel pressures as there is a drop off 5 bar to 2 bar or something similar, not 100% sure, but it should be higher and it drops low.

If you take your car to a garage to be fixed and they change a part that didn't need changing because they got it wrong why should you have to pay for it??
