Mine did exactly the same a couple of months ago, ended up being the fuel filter, it still took them nearly a week though to find it. I would say this is definatley what is wrong with yours.

Hi .... I'd be very interested in the outcome of this as my 07 TDV6 is doing much the same (see recent post in Technical issues titled Faults at Speed) so far they've done injectors and filter but still not sorted, my biggest worry is that when the injectors were done they didn't do the filter so they could be dirty again !

Sounds like a very similar issue, I have had both fuel pumps replaced so far, fuel filter, injectors checked and they are fine, ecu checked, electricals checked and still no fault found.

I feel your pain ££££££££ , Mine has been in 3 times with this now and were none the wiser ! ... Add to that for the NCT (MOT in Ireland) I had to buy 2 tyres , then it failed on a suspension imbalance so I had to buy 2 rear suspension units which set me back €1000 fitted and now this fuel fault .... If that's what it is ? Like yourself my patience and wallet are getting thin ! |

Ok a further update if anyone has any clues, it seems after further tests and diags by a top range rover electronics guru, the fuel issue seems to be happening only when the car is under load.

Have they checked the vent is clear for the fuel tank so it can breath and not cause a vacuum while your under load.
