it's exactly what I used - self-adhesive furniture protector. It wore down pretty fast though.

Just ordered the same 3 parts from Dan at Duckworths - great stuff and less than a fiver. They also ship to Spain which I'm very pleased about. Hope I don't screw up the fitting Shocked

Great thread - I'm in Spain and am going to the UK in December - so if I read this right, my 2005 RRS won't need any light adjusting for UK roads. That's one thing less to worry about - thanks.
