People carriers and estate cars as well..............you might as well say every household in the middle classes is going to be hit with an averaged sized engine and above, because the size of the car needs it.
Lets hope the same people vote him and his party out at the next election Thumbs Up

If he had his way it would be like East Berlin in the 80's with those little tin cars only available in one style, one small engine, with 3 doors and 3 colours. Then they added an estate version. TDV6 - gone

Shame - bet its because the retax rate went through the roof - I have the confirmaion though so they'd better honour it!

So have I, have to wait and see I guess Smile

I think you'll find you're too late fellas, Road Tax changes are IMMEDIATE so you'll have to pay the increased duty. Happened to me one year as well. It does say that on the form.. prices correct subject to government change. Good luck anyway! Thumbs Up

Just got the following message for our RRS details:

"As there has already been a successful transaction for this vehicle a new transaction cannot be undertaken at this time. "

So the system seems to have issued and confirmed a new disc at the old rate (inc the card transaction), so unless THEY actively pull the transaction and go against the treasury´s own report then it looks like it has worked OK.....fingers crossed! Cheers
