Fellas, it's the side of the plastic moulding, around the lock, right at the base of the tailgate. Basically, the stick-on fluffy "brazillian" velcro pads form a buffer between the tailgate and the base where the lock drops into the clasp area. If you look, you'll see pathetic rubber pads either side of the clasp where the lock rests when closed. There's obviously movement, allowing plastic creaking and knocking. The velcro pads do work a treat, it's now very quiet! |
