The basic charger works fine, do you have a cheap overnight tariff such as Octopus?

We got a HyperVolt charger and it has been faultless. Only about £650 installed iirc |

I've been considering the same, but my garage is a fair distance from the main fusebox (separate from the house), so with the cabling work involved, not worth it. You can only benefit from off-peak savings if you have a fast charger installed and the sums just don't add up for my usage.

Another question, I take it there is a separate battery for the internal combustion engine (or not??) & if the car is sitting for a while you can connect a Ctek to this battery to keep it charged up or does the plug in charger also feed this battery. I believe there is a smaller than normal 12 volt battery to drive the instruments, lights, etc. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

The plug in charger feeds the main battery and that charges the 12v battery. No need for a CTEK on that if you are regularly charging the car. |
