Ah yes. I’ve also done this. Feels like we’re the extra stage on the production line as LR should have done it. Robin

You need to activate them in the CCF files, so you will need a IID tool if you have one, or a good Indi. should be able to do it quiet easily for you.

These are highly recommended by a lot of members myself included, not sure how competetive that price is these days, but just given as a example of the tool. Probably one of the best accessories you could buy if you have one of these vehicles.

I looked into code readers before I purchased my Sport and got a good deal on a ICarsoft Jaguar Landrover specific reader and it’s been indispensable, it’s in depth, accurate and easy to use.

Have a look here: https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic44340.html and here: https://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic20566.html Might help. I seem to recall that I worked from these two postings and got there quite easily. I left it that whichever rear door opened, both courtesy lights came on. But you can make them individual if you want. Robin 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Gone: Jaguar S-Type V8 4.2 Sport MGZTT 190 2.5 |
