Best thing I ever did to mine was the Alive remap as it cured the hesitation when pulling out of junctions and went like a rocket with better fuel economy. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

I think one of the nicest one's I did visually was change the boxy shape rear view mirrors for the later D4/RRS2 one's. Best mod practically was fit ebc redstuff brake pads to get rid of that ing annoying light braking squeal the s/c's suffered from.

The single best mod is a spare wheel protector. Sure, no one ever sees it, it doesn't look cool or help you show off, but if you ever get a puncture, it'll be the best money you've ever spent on a car. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I have this one and it's great... https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/spare-wheel-a...-7727.html There's also the 'Uncle Ray' one which is the same, but was a little more expensive at the time. Kev MY2014 L405 RR Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 in Corris Grey MY2010 L320 RRS HSE 3.0 TDV6 in Stornoway Grey |

The later ones were modified but how effective the spring cover was/is don't really know, but sure someone will be able to say if it works or not from personal experience of having their wheel stolen with the latest style fitted. As have later style winch never did bother with the protector plate.

The best mod was disabling the rain sensors, giving me a fixed time intermittent wipe.

Never considered disabling the rain sensors. I find them really annoying so I'll be looking into doing this. |
