Didn't say within the hour, could probably beat 3 weeks though Laughing

Actually don't charge any of that except the dreaded VAT Evil or Very Mad
Rushed off my feet but have been a bit lazy this year, bit fed up with it after 21 years. Fancy looking into a career change.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver

Blimey, what happened to this topic?

Anyway, an update (and it's not good news) Sad

After all the problems I had with the quality of the car, I got a phonecall to say the replacement had arrived.........but I would have to pay another £500 'cos it has the TV built in!!!! That's strange, I was told that the TV was part of the deal, but nothing in writing, so that's a total contribution from me of £5,700. Ouch!
I went to inspect the car a couple of Saturday's ago, and it wasn't actually perfect. There were pimples and blemishes on the paintwork (but not as bad as my current car), one of the windows had a scrape on it, the roof had a 3" scratch and one of the roof rails was bent. The dealer said he would get most of these sorted, and he would sort out the transfer of the number plate.
Last night (on this very forum) I read that the 2007 HSE S/C does not come with the Logic 7 as standard, and sure enough, when I phoned the dealer this morning he confirmed that it wasn't fitted to my car Crying or Very sad

I have now said that I don't want the replacement. I've had the reg number put back on my car, and re-instated the insurance.
I'm not paying £5,700 for a car that has a LOWER spec!!!

Apparently, the best LR can do is offer another £500, making my contribution £5,200. This is an insult!

If I sell the car now I stand to loose maybe £10k in 6 months.

If I wait for another car with the Logic 7, I will have to pay even more, and my car would be worth less in 5 months time, so I'd have to pay the difference there, too.

At the moment, I'm gutted. I don't know what to do. Do I cut my losses, do I sink more money in, or do I stick with my current car.

I would never, EVER buy another LR. RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p!
