I’m sure the early sports weren’t designed for anything bigger than the 19’s as the steering rack wasn’t up-to them.it was around early 2007 that they change the rack for the 20’s to be fitted. Andy.

Cheers tyrefitter, well it is an early 2007, but that could possibly be the problem, steering is lovely and light though (too light in my opinion). I know the wheels aren’t meant to fit the L320, but theres no issues with rubbing anywhere, just the speedo being slightly out....and this sodding traction problem. |

Don't that size potentially damage the rack if its not the later rack |

My 2005 RRS had 20" wheels on when bought it 2 years ago. No problems all. Interestingly the VIN is between the numbers Autobiography1969 quotes above. - Just checked... mine has damped steering gear as per the link above. Barrie.

Just quoting the VIN numbers from "geoffsnook" post as its an important detail in the recall/service bulletin..

I will do an alignment , because rims offset seems to be different , independent suspension is very sensitive to changes TdV8 mapped and egr deleted , 265/60 r18 on Compomotive rims , Navarricos underbody protection , custom rocksliders , Devon44 hidden winch 9500i , IIDTool |

4 wheel alignment can make a massive difference to the feel and ride of your car just make sure they know what they are doing as places haven’t got a clue where to start with these cars |
