Hi Nigel, i think it became a problem but has been resolved again so i hear. I know them at LPR so i just don't understand, that's what they told me.
Would you not be better taking the car in March now 18reg? Annoying i know..
Perhaps its to do with all the screen problems that have been reported.? SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

18 plate was what I was going for but was told it would be registered before. My argument has always been that they should only register the car prior to collection. I still have my retention slip for my private plate which they have not requested, so hopefully they will register it for 2018.
Have you heard anymore on yours?

I did look at it but it was too high mileage. mine only had 1000 and 60 of them was Factory ! Besides the badges on the back were put on the wrong side after it was repaired !  RRS SVR 2018

Oh well, still no news on my Borealis Black order that i put in now 4 weeks ago, not even been accepted in the system!

I was told when i ordered it that it would be accepted likely for April and now 4 weeks down line nothing...the dealership has put in another order (using another slot), with exactly same spec, but with Santorini black which has been accepted with a delivery date of 12 May and i have till 28 Feb to decide whether i go with that or continue to wait for the Borealis Black to be accepted.

Bloody annoying that there is no feedback when your spending all this money from the factory to give an indication whether my main order is going to get accepted before 28 Feb. I'm not prepared to wait months for the Borealis black to be accepted as nice as it is...

I will still be happy with santorini but just not my original 1st choice ... if this was a porsche dealership, they would be pulling their finger out and at least giving some indication of when it will be accepted MY18 Range Rover Sport SVR (18' - current)

I put in an order for an SVR with an SVO colour on Dec. 20th and it didn't get accepted until after Jan 10th but there was holiday shutdown too. They asked if I would rather pick a standard colour but after complaining they got my original order in. Build date is not until 3/16 and then it has to come to North America and I won't get it until late May. Obviously SVO has their hands full now with so many models to work on including the new SVCoupe.

Still, I would wait for Borealis Black if it were me. It's a very special colour and makes the SVR that bit more special and much more unique. I've seen Instagram pics of the new SVR in Santorini and like the old one does not reveal the details like other colors do. Still can't go wrong with Santorini as it's beautiful and I've had it. Nice if you want that blacked out stealthy look. But again Borealis is very special and worth the wait and cost.

Unrelated, it's funny how they offer these SVO colors with no actual high quality photos either. Only dealer swatches. It's like they want to offer the product to people but not actually sell too many. Odd business model. 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR – Bosphorus Grey
