Thought it was too good to be true....

But a part fell of the tail gate hinge today ! It is fixable so I am not going to worry that much although I am going to send JLR some more photos !!!

The colour is stunning, but what is it? Looks like a very dark green-grey in some pictures, grey in others and almost British Racing Green in others...... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It is Borealis Black, very hard to photograph due to the sparkles. I tried to photograph it many ways even used polaroid filter but still not got the actual colour.

With no sun it is black, but as soon as it flairs the sparkles take over. Really weird, but I love it !!!  RRS SVR 2018

wow great pics Nige, looks lovely and now i know what mine will look like as we have the same spec (i went for black interior also) but red paddles … well done!

SVR575: i checked in with the detailing company (www.offsetdetailing.com) and if i wanted the full works its going to be around £1000 .

"Two stage machine polish with ceramic coating starts at £600. Thats for something like Gyeon MOHS, Carpro Cquartz UK Edition 3.0 or Gtechniq. The Kamikaze Collection coatings are a bit more expensive but offer more gloss and in my opinion give that extra bit more. Something like ISM Pro gives extreme gloss, durablility and is £700. You can put their Miyabi coating underneath for even more gloss and durability this would be £800.
Their top of the range coating is a two stage coating called Enrei. The two coatings fuse together and give the best of everything. This comes in at £1000. All prices include wheel faces coated, exterior glass and trim coated too. Interior is also vacuumed and cleaned with the engine bay cleaned and dressed also. Leather protection package to help against dye/dirt transfer is an additional £100."


Ive no idea what any of these products are/do but seems to be a good company and has good feedback and plenty of experience and up the road from my land rover dealer in chelmsford…
