England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Hi all been popping in for a while finally found a RRS pick it up Friday, must be mad buying a car a week before Xmas. Anyway I'm peter live in sunny Bacup Lancashire been a Land Rover nut for most of my driving life, started off with a series 3 110" safari then a 90" then a Discovery 200tdi 300tdi and 2 TD5's with the odd Volvo inbetween now I'm soon to be the proud owner of a 2005 RRS HSE TDV6, tried moving away from LRs but keep getting dragged back so I've concluded I have an incurable mental condition so I'll live with it. Oh I'm also a caravaner have a hand built Vanmaster Accolade. If it ain't broken down it soon will

Welcome to the new members. Thumbs Up

Make sure you join in with discussions and ask questions. Do use the search facility too as you'll often find the question has been covered before.

Most of all - have fun and enjoy your RRS. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi all

Welcome to RRSPORT.CO.UK, the brand new community web site for owners and enthusiasts of the new Range Rover Sport from Land Rover.

I'm Martin and I currently run DISCO3.CO.UK - a very similar site for the new Discovery 3/LR3.

Anyway, say hello here, let us know if you've got an RRS, or have one on order, or just like the look of them Wink

Please have a play with the forum and gallery, and do let me know any problems or queries.

Enjoy!

Martin

Hi there folks.

Just joined the forum and currently on the hunt for a nice l322 3.0 TD6 or RRS 2.7 TDV6.

Based in Scotland but willing to travel for the right car.

Hello from a new RRS owner

Thumbs Up

Just joined the forum as we have purchased a low mileage 2005 RRS Supercharged - a fantastic car.

One issue - I have broken Rolling Eyes the driver's seat button that controls the position of the back rest. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Thanks.

Thanks Geoff I will check Ebay.

Our RRS has proved to be a great family car, and since we purchased we have been to Spain on a 2,560 mile trip - many more miles and adventures to come in 2018.

A few small jobs to make the car perfect - wheels refurbished/repainted and sort out a few stone chips on the bonnet.

Gentle use of the throttle we achieved 17 mpg on the long motorway runs in France and Spain.

Ok so comfort against mpg as her will easily achieve 50+ but i can also run mine on gas so would not be as bad i assume that was at near enough the legal speed limit or just below Rolling with laughter

We took it steady and stayed below speed limits - I don’t think you can take lpg equipped cars on Eurotunnel.
