I have just ordered a foam seat base for my drivers seat, it was starting to sag on the right bolster. This excellent write up makes it look a fairly straightforward job.

Is it just the foam base you can buy or can you get the leather from the dealer also ? |

I just bought the foam, I will reuse the leather. There are a couple of LR leathers on ebay atm. |

The seat foam and heater pad are about the same price, so around 50 or 60 Euro each. You can't see the eyes of the demon until him come callin' |

Great write up and "did" mine today, until I discovered I was shipped the wrong foam! Put the butchered seat back in until I get the right cushion this week...... 2018 Telsa MS

Much better only 49k on the car yet this mod makes a nice difference to the bottom end.....I ended up using hog rings to attach the cover to the foam, nice and tidy. 2018 Telsa MS

Replaced my drivers seat foam today, I used cable ties to hold it all together. Took 2.5 hours, very pleased with the result

New drivers seat base foam installed and refitted to car. The creases in the leather are beginning to come out since I have thoroughly nourished it.

This was very easy and have the hog ring tool if you need it. Putting the 4 bolts back in to hold the seat base in was frustrating, yet easily done. All told it will take an hour or so.
