Of course. Not all Lexars are bad, but they tend to be corrupted the most compared to other brands.

I'm not saying all Lexars are bad, of course they are not, but if I'm paying (relatively) the same amount I'd rather buy another brand. Though one has to pay a small premium for something like Sandisk.

If you are buying the Ultra II then I'd recommend a Sandisk. Ultra IIs are good and fast enough for our uses.

Word of cautious, there are counterfeit Sandisk cards on ebay... better buy from a reliable source if you ask me.

The first option. The 55-200 is rubbish, and you don't need the grip, if you do you can always buy it later.

It used to be that there are only EF lenses from Canon but they introduced the EF-S for digital. EF lenses work on all cameras but EF-S work with some but not all models.

The 18-55mm is the focal length. However the 350 has a crop factor of 1.6, so the lens is really 29-88mm.

If you go to a shop try the lens it will give you an idea as how the focal length looks/feels.

Yeah Jay, go for the 305D & also opt for the USM version of the lens -The USM (Ultrasonic Motor) focuses very fast.

I have bought excellent Sandisk flash cards via ebay - but would agree it is a haven for fraudsters selling fake cards that portray to be 2GB but in fact only have a memory capacity of a gnat [ 128mb usually ]

READ THIS LINK : http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/Beware-of-FAKE-1...1:SEARCH:1

If you do purchase one [ sandisk ] you can register with them & submit the seriel number of the card to check its authentiicity. I think your choice of camera is an excellent one & should serve you well = Happy snapping Wink
