What's the mm's in that Sony (35mm equivalent). Tried quickly to look for it but couldn't find that info. |

I'm still using my Minolta XG "cant be bothered to check the number" but still a brill camera and over 20 years old, the Soney I bought in the US last year and is a great little piece of kit? the DSLR I mentioned earlier belongs to a frien of mine and I have to have one? after the mods to the RRS? |

The focal range of the W100's lens is 7.9 - 23.7 mm, which is equivalent to 38 - 114 mm.

This is very sad in the fact that I cant remember the details of my camera's I keep the Soney in Sweden where I work but I have just looked and my SLR is an X700 which is brill, a photograhper friend of mine loves it and he uses a Hassellblad 64mm "I think"? |

38mm is not that wide but certainly wide enough for taking a close up pics of cars. |

I have a Nikon D70 with a 18-70 and 70-300 zoom lens - you can get great deals online at the moment. If this looks too expensive, then the D50 is still a great model too. |

DSLR's are better but you will get p.... off carrying everything arround with you, lences etc? |

Yes, and they are getting cheaper. The Canon XT/350D is one heck of a camera, and not that expensive either. Give it a look. I don't have it but judgeding from the sensor it has it's a great camera. If you are researching, which I recommend, I have the Canon 20D and 5D. |

Tell me about it! I still feel the pain in my shoulder for photographing the event today. I was carrying the 20D w/ 70-200 f4, 5D w/ 24-70 f2.8 and two other lenses in the bag. Glad I didn't bring the 100-400 L. |
