United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

Hi Bodsy,
Yes I have dropped on a good one I hope.
It was bought new from Shukers in Shrewsbury and has had every service done by them.
The last one done in October last year including new front brakes and only done 150 miles since.
Previous owner traded in for a new 4.4 Autobiography.
I have managed to speak with him regards any previous issues but he said he hasn't had any problems with it other than a Water in Fuel message which is being sorted before I collect it
I will more than likely be wanting some software upgrades etc at sometime so I will bein touch.

Regards. Phil.

Timed heat enabled

Ok timed heater option enabled and tested. All worked fine which is great.
Couple of questions for the more experienced owners on here though:

On the timed heater touch screen there are two buttons that are greyed out (heat now & vent now). Any idea why they are greyed out?

Is there any way to switch off the FBH once switch on by the timed heater control or do you just have to wait the 20 minutes? -----------------------------------------------

On demand heat/vent buttons should be available when engine is off as they are meant to provide heating/ventilation when in the car but without starting the engine.

Turning the car on stops timed climate if I remember correctly. Not sure if the timed climate screen also has a button to turn it off. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Thanks fkarim
Turned off timed heater control on dash but heater continued until timed period had expired. Will have to try starting and then stopping the engine to see if it stops it.
On demand buttons are greyed out with engine off and Ignition on. -----------------------------------------------

Try on demand buttons with ignition off too. Turning the radio on and/or touching the screen will bring the screen to life so you can access the timed climate screen. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Tried with ignition off - no change
Tried pressing and holding buttons with timers on and off - no change
At all times the heat now and vent now buttons remain greyed out and inactive. Wondering if this is usual where no remote receiver is installed it if there is another condition that needs to be set. Currently have the climate control In automatic. -----------------------------------------------

Yes absolutely it can. Warms up the engine, you just need to remember to switch it on 1/2 hour before you want to go out.

Tamworth, I can supply and fit if you're interested. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Message for Bodsy re Timed Climate Control

Hi Bodsy
Would have pm'd but I'm new here and it won't let me do that yet.
Just bought a 2012 RRS SDV6 which has the Webasto FBH under the bonnet but not enabled.
Can you give me price for enabling it and supplying remote control capability.
I'm near High Wycombe in Bucks but could come to you.
Thanks, BiffoBear (aka Gary)

Guys - sorry for the late resurrection of thread, but I have updated mine on my 2010 tdv8 but I get no option on the touch screen to set the timed climate. Where should it be? Ideally I was hoping I could set it for the same time each morning, by no sure where to access it. Cheers, Steve 2010 TDV8

I've answered my own question. All done now. Just need some cold weather.

I assume this won't put the heated screen on - just through the blowers? 2010 TDV8
