United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Just bought a second hand TDV8 last week from a dealer (not main in Kent), today fault on info panel, diagnostics plugged in, LH turbo actuator stuck at 60%

Got a warranty from dealer that should cover it (up to £5k) but not sure whether I should just return the car as I had specifically asked them to check the turbos and they claim they had.

I will be going away for work fro more than 3 days at a time, does this mean I will have this issue a lot?, sorry for the naïve questions, but a noobie here.

If I get the whole body off, should I get both turbo's replaced at the same time and is there any other work I should get done when access is good.

07 plate with 83000, on the clock.

Thanks

If the warranty covers up to £5k, that is enough to replace both turbos Whistle Wink

However, a good indie with a can of ease=it spray can fix that problem in less than an hour 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

Thanks Disco Mikey, was also thinking the same, I know they are going to ask me to get it back to them so they will try to do things themselves, however they are not specialists I am going to insist that I can use a local garage to me, as detailed in the sale of goods act, and agreed when I tool out their underwritten warranty.

Also don't want to be driving it over 300 miles like that, may cause damage?

Anything else Whistle we should be looking at when it is in body off stages, are brake pipes worth replacing, anything else you would recommend, last garage who serviced it said the suspension light was coming on, linked to the dynamic control system, think they said wishbones may be the issue, guess that should be getting investigated at the same time.

The car (as described by the garage who di the diagnostics) immaculate, just hoping I have not bought a pup underneath!
