Brake Fault

Hi Guys,

Back with another problem. This time it's the brakes, when stopped on hill / slope etc with brake pedal firmly down the car will roll forward with nothing left in the pedal. Any ideas what it could be? Just had new discs and pads which has not cured it.

Thanks in advance Out and About

First thoughts are a faulty brake servo, but the pedal will be rock solid

If the pedal goes to the floor, and is very soft, it is likely a failed master cylinder, or excessive air in the system

Thumbs Up

Have you had recall P017 carried out?

It may be worth getting in touch with LRCC, they have been known to carry out the recall again, replacing all the items this time round Thumbs Up

Hi Simo1976, Did you get your brake problem fixed? I am having the same issue, i have replaced the master servo and new discs and pads. The problems seems to be getting progressively worse but the mechanic cannot find anything wrong. Thanks

Hi,
Not yet haven't had time to get it looked at. Was going to try in the next few weeks. Servo was mentioned though, and I spoke to LR the only outstanding issue was something to do with a tow bar recall...! Out and About
