Very clever. Looks like a well engineered solution and should last longer than OEM. |

I had already overhauled the compressor but still the dreaded light came up. I then read your solution and checked the cap with soapy water and low and behold there is a fine crack between the two outlet threaded holes!

Received the new cap, cost £35 and came in 5 days. Its machined tough plastic, fitted this afternoon, took about 45 minutes without removing the compressor, did it in place.

Suspension failure light came on today on 2006 tdv6 70,000 only had it a week but once turned off and on agin it's been fine !! Is this Likely to be the fault ? , sorry to be vague but only just happened and I've only just got rid of a BMW X5 that was rippled with faults witch put me through 8 weeks of hell ! |

Hi Miller mine was like that at the start but gradually got worse, so I came on this brilliant forum site & found the remedy. I got in touch with a Guy called Ignas who is on here sent him the payment through paypal & he sent me the part's job done |

Hi all and especially gruodiz. I had the light and warning for a couple of weeks. Now suspension has dropped onto the stoppers and won't raise. Compressor is trying but car won't raise... Question - Is this indicative of the hairline crack scenario?? Help much appreciated |
