Hi guys, the engine management light has just come on, on my RRS HSE diesel. In the book it says, petrol engines check engine, and underneath it says about emissions. Is this regarding the diesel engine or does it mean i still need an engine check.

It would be prudent to have it changed at the earliest opportunity, in case the 2nd valve fails, leaving you stranded |

With a bit of practice, the valves are about an hour a side. Nothing difficult, but a bit fiddly |

Needs plugged in and the live values of the EGRs checked, to determine which one is at fault

My thoughts exactly Mikey, so I think I'll do both of them. It's a bit of a lay out, but needs must.

Just thought I'd let you guys know that you can't blank off the EGR valves on an 09 plate, as It only works on tdv6 up to chassis number A6 and not EU4.

Be aware that the emulators are not as easy as it's made out to be.

Thanks guys. I'm going for the EGR delete and remap. That way it will sort out the EGR valves and give more bhp and torque.
