Normally de ices a heavily frozen windscreen in about 2-3 minutes.

Hmmm, ours is possibly broken, fingers crossed a blown fuse

Check the connectors too, one either side of windscreen (behind A pillar trims I think) and might be a fuse for each side of heated screen. |

Thanks. I have just checked fuses as they are fine but they were both 15 amp not 30 amp as manual suggests. |

I have just started the engine and turned all electrics off after 30 seconds I turned the electric heated front screen on and I heard the engine note change slightly and the rev counter lowered by a mm or so. Then, when I turn the heated front screen off, the engine note changed again and the rev counter needle went up by a mm or so.

There is a TSB out to replace the fuse. |

Hmm, thats for MY2012, ours is a 2009, no idea why it has 15 amp fuses in it. They haven't blown on us despite being 1/2 what the manual says they should be.
