The basic way to keep the top screen/sat nav working, plus other functionality which goes via the head unit like being able to change temperature from C to F etc. is to relocate the head unit to the boot. This keeps its connectivity and allows these other functions to continue working.

I am hoping olly is going to tell us something different as I was aware of the head unit in the boot but just don't want to entertain that idea ! Range Rover Sport 2009 Stormer edition. |

Looks neat. How much did the fitting cost and what did they use for the surround trim to fill the gap? 07 TDV8 + BAS map |

Hi first post and like Roy, love the car hate that stereo, I have a alpine ive-w585 bt double din ready to install, but do like the 4x4 info screen, so have ordered the bits and can't wait to see Ollly's guide, as it looks excellent with both screens working. |
