You both have been very helpful in my search for the right kit for my upgrade. Im curious to know once this kit https://incartec.co.uk/product/fk-853-6 is installed and I follow your instructions for the disassembly of the OEM HU, Do I still require an amp for the SUBwoofer? I know I am late on this thread but man have you guys given me some much needed insight. I just purchased an android Head unit by Dasaita and am excited to get it in and this old one out but retaining all the functions you have. |

Yes you still need an amp for the subwoofer. Connect head unit sub out to amp and amp to pink wires in incrtec loom TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten |

A good auto electrician will touch it. But it will cost you. Ive been quoted £900 all in for what you are after, but i would loose the sub and some of the tweeters. |

Hi, I installed the InCarTec FK-853-6 for my 2008 LR3 with Logic 7. I cannot for the life of me get the steering wheel controls to interface with my Alpine ILX-407. HELP! I found the InCarTec support unhelpful (especially since I am a DIY installer) and their online installation guide is confusing (there are a couple of versions online too). What are the essential installation details to follow to get the steering wheel controls to talk to the Head Unit through the interface? Thank you for any advice! Pufftmw commented above that he/she had installed the plug "upside down" and once corrected got the interface to function. What does "upside down" mean in this instance? Thanks again for advice. |
