This looks so good I can't wait to do mine, although I am weary of doing it myself!

Question for anyone that has changed the head unit to one of those pioneer units (or similar) are you able to use google maps from your phone on the head unit screen?

I can see the Pioneer supports appradio and mirrorlink but cant be sure if I could get Google maps to work via this method

Any help appreciated TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

Just recently changed my head unit to the Pioneer AVH-X3800DAB and have gone with the IncarTec nav retention so have the clock reset issue. Can you tell me which IID tool you use to do the clock reset?

Cheers in advance

Using the Alpine ILX700 with Apple Car Play. It doesn't allow GM to work but you can use Apple Maps, though limited benefit over OE SatNav if any? Just to play one day, I ran both SatNavs and the only thing I could see I might be able to do was run Apple Maps as an overview and the OE for street level. As you need an internet connection for GM or Apple Maps, limited use in the countryside (esp Wales!).

I think from memory it was the pink pairs in the incartec lead

Edit. Just checked my thread http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic46672.html and yes it's the pink wires TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

If you have the incartec lead then the pink wires are obvious. If not then no idea sorry as dont know how you are connecting a new stereo. The sub was originally powered by amp under drivers seat that is no longer used in my system

So Yeah you will need an amp for the sub. Did you reed my thread i linked too ??? Thumbs Up TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

Yeah I had a look at your thread. I have the incartec wiring kit so the pink wire's are there.

I was wondering how to wire them up properly.

Do the pink wires goto the additional amp that I need to purchase or do they go to the headunit?

Thanks

I realize this the quite a bit late, what did you do to keep the factory nav (Olly-ibiza)? I can’t fogure it out.
