TBH - I agree - but the fitting is guaranteed - done at your convenience - any trim removed is reinstalled with new clips - for that price you also get installed in the glove box another cut out switch that enables you to turn the system off if needed.
Add that to IMO a cracking service Smile its worth paying the cash. Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

It depends were you stick them

Mines up near the rear view mirror, sticky pad on the black dots, sort of just blends in looking like part of mirror setup from outside to me

This Censored never noticed it before robbing my spare wheel Twisted Evil & that blackvue was silver - my newer version is black & does blend in well.

Just a thought but what card format did you buy?

If it is a SDXC class card then it won't work in the Blackvue. SDXC uses exFAT file system not the FAT system needed by Blackvue which is supported by SDHC. cards

There are not many SDHC cards with a 64gb capacity, most high capacity cards tend to be SDXC

If you have the latest DR750 camera then it looks as though it is possible to convert the cards file system (see link). Not sure about other Blackvue models

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Atacama Sand

I have one in my weekend car. The blackvue looked too bulky on the screen so I decided to try the mini 0801 since the price was good

TBH, for the price it is excellent and I have used it on the rear screen of the RRS. Video quality is good but there are 2 downsides

1. If you move it frequently the pins which attach to the base are a little fragile and the fit to the mount becomes a little loose
2. The early GPS versions, which the cheaper ones tend to be, have a problem with maintaining the set time. For some reason no matter what time you set it to, once the GPS kicks in the time defaults to the country of manufacture

Not sure if there is a firmware update to fix the GPS time issue, I haven't had the time to look. I fix it by setting the current time -3 hours so that it reads correct once the GPS starts up

Cheers

Just bought this one for a permanent fit to rear screen
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00IKEVS6I/ref=...71_TE_item

Don't need GPS as Blackvue has that, and for £35 it's worth a punt Thumbs Up
