I get the same problem, I thought about putting some dynamat sound deadening in mine. I think a fair few owners have had this problem but don't know if there is a dealer fix for it. I have tried grabbing various bits of trim on the boot lid and the boot panel inside but can't seem to stop it. I'm thinking it's something inside the boot lid itself. The problem with dynamat in the boot is if the electric boot motor failed LR would prob try and wriggle out of a warranty claim by saying you had added extra weight to it 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black
