The Blackvue is one of the best mods I did on the SC RRS - I feel lost - insecure without one. The one advertised might be a bit evasive mounted behind the rear view mirror but I like the idea of the touch screen monitor Thumbs Up 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Spain

Looks very good, only 2 issue I have.
Blackvue can stop working in the heat and is it a tad on the big side? In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Had one but after about 6 months the GPS became unreliable and could take anything over 25 mins to acquire a location. Got a replacement which wasn't much better so I received a refund and replaced it.

My Blackvue has been back at the supplier for the last 4 weeks being repaired due to heat. Whistle
Thats bloody expensive for an incar camera.

One here a wee little bit cheaper... Obviously not as good i guess.

I paid about £25 for my camera off Ebay. OK, it doesn't have all the bells and whistle, but it records what's happening in front, it has never once gone wrong and I have had it 3 years+. Smile

I've got a road hawk HD in my daily driver and I wouldn't be without some sort of camera now. I've already caught a very near miss when I nearly ran a silly bint lady over. I don't think i'll be putting one in my RRS as I don't use do that many miles in it.

Not sure why you need the screen on in the back of the camera. I very rarely view the footage i get. Plus if the camera is too big it's more tempting for someone to break in and take.

^^^ I didn't buy another Balckvue. I replaced it with a MiWitness unit with front & rear cameras.

^^^ Yes I have no issues with mine; does just what is says on the tin.

In my opinion their software isn't quite as good as the Blackvue. The unit seems slightly smaller than the Blackvue as is the the 'rear' camera making for more discrete/easier installation.

I had a few questions but Steve at MiWitness answered quickly - they also have a Forum which is quite information.
