It was revealed last night at the JLR event, along with the other SVO wonders. |

From a Press perspective? I really don't know I'm sorry to say; although I've been lucky to be involved with the Nurburgring and Goodwood launch films, I don't know when the Media drives are planned. Knowing PR, it's bound to be somewhere warm ![]() |

I've no doubt at all the car will be well reviewed though peppered with the self-indulgent sarcasm the hacks cannot resist. Just look at Tim Pollard's comments on the Car magazine web-site. Harry Metcalfe, ex-Evo, did an interesting video review of the base SC 5.0 and thought there was scope for more. He's now working for JLR and I have no idea whether he's seen as bringing something to the party or a thorn in their side or indeed whether he had any input to the SVR but he was right that there was scope for more.

An alternative view is why spend more on a version that can only seat four + one, tow less, is not as luxurious, has a harder ride, fewer options, blah, blah. Maybe numbers will be limited. Oh, and it's now in the Configurator so play away. Not sure the Configurator is 100% accurate, as ever. Interesting that eight colours are listed (Yulong White). ![]() |

I think the person who set-up the Configurator is on similar tablets to me:

Good the configurator is up and sort of running. As Phil says, I'm not sure it's 100% accurate but as expected the baseline appears to be the autobiography. I don't see anything I have to specify now that I wasn't on it. Main options added seem to be the new wheels and the carbon fibre trim. I'm not big on software driving aids like blind spot monitoring, or TV etc so that is keeping the cost of mine "down" to a smidgen below £100k, excluding any dealer fit stuff. Mark
