The FBH won't be running after a 60 mile run. I have seen steam from the front tyres on a cold damp day as the tyres' warmth dries it off slightly. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I was going to say, the FBH shouldn't be running after that sort of journey. |

I am sure my FBH does the same guys after a run - I park in garage and can hear it buzzing and small amount of smoke when it is cold outside after I switch off engine |

It comes on automatically when temperature drops below certain point - around 5-7 deg I think from experience |

The FBH is on the near side though... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Will check tomorrow but sure buzzing and smoke is under drivers side headlight when parked in garage |

Yeah think I had a buzzing noise from drivers side when I popped bonnet too. (Thought that was the egr's self cleaning) |
