Missing AUX Audio Port

I have a 2007 Range Rover Sport SE and can't find the Aux Audio port. It's not on the back of the centre console. One the back is some sort of a blanking plate.

The head unit has an Aux button, which you can select.

Any ideas? Thank you..

Should be a little plastic flap on the back of the centre console. Just flap it down and behind it should be an aux socket and 12v socket

I think it was only standard on HSE & HST models and an optional extra on the SE & S models. 2014 L405 SDV8 RR Autobiography Cool

Thank you.

Do you think that there is a blind cable or that itīs possible to lay a cable? The jack would not be the problem.

By the way: Has the head unit in this case an aux port?

Here is a detailed thread on the Disco3 forum which shows how to retrofit AUX input:

I am going to hunt down and buy the aux port and 12v power socket and give it a go as the data cable and power lead are behind the blank on my Australian spec 2005 RRS.

I have now bought and installed the correct aux port and power socket using the pre-existing leads behind the previous blank, however I do not get any sound from the aux input on the stereo.
I am waiting for an IIDTool to arrive and I see in the list of CCF functions for the 2005 RRS an option for Aux Input, will enabling this be all that is additionaly required?

Still no sound after checking Aux input with IIDTool (already enabled) so I guess I am going to have to pull the head unit to ensure the cables are connected at that end.

Any tips?
