Really if you have had legal advice Bob that says you are well within your rights to regect the car then stick to your guns and go for it.
If your dealer is a big chain you could also try their head office customer services.

And in addition to Cliffs bit, take loads of photos and copy them to LR Customer Relations. Is your dealer part of a very large chain (Vardy Group etc) or are they a small solus dealer? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

This is really BAD news Bob Sad

FYI - Tim - the dealer is Trinity of Hinckley ( not a large group )

Bob - swap it for the nice Java Black S/Chrgd in the showroom !

BTW - If this was mine - Rolling Eyes - instant reject - letter to LR telling them I had rejected it with letter/keys/car all left at dealership! Now Await reply and new car!

If you bought a suit from M&S - got home and found it to be of poor quality ie. threads in it ,stains, one leg shorter than the other etc etc..... you would for one minute let them take it back to try and repair it Shocked

So why in Gods name do we accept rubbish when its cost £60k

Bob I sympathise with you - having been in the same boat ( literally a boat ) with a leaky Audi Cabriolet Mad - But Audi did the honorable thing and sorted my complaint out.

Bob, this is really heart-breaking as we are all aware from your posts how excited you were about getting your car!

I can't add anything new to the sound advice already posted, however I'm heartened to hear that you want to replace it with another and give RRS another chance.

Genuinely, best of luck and document EVERYTHING! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Shame was going to give Trinity a try for warranty and servicing as I have had run ins with the other local dealers.
Not sure that is such a good idea now, or are they better on that side MDP.

Bob try this one:

The Chairman

It should find somebody who deals with these things pretty quickly if you send it to that address!

And I'm not joking............. otherwise there is an address for Customer Services in the Owners Handbook. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
