Cracked Sat Nav Screen

Hi all,

I managed to crack the screen on my 2006 model (long story!). Is there anyway this can be replaced, and if so does anyone recommend a supplier (I'm based in London), or would the whole unit need replacing?

Thanks and regards,
Richard

You can usually get the screensnon eBay or from a breakers. They're not coded and are relatively straightforward to do. Although getting the side vents off can be a pain on a RRS, but all very do-able Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

I may be wrong but thought cutting the wire was to trick it into thinking its a FF system for audio on sat nav screen etc, I thought TV on the move was an software update?

Well I have been known to be wrong Whistle
I know with Audi systems, it's one wire and the TV works on the move, way off target with a wire from
Gear sector sending message to TV to say its in Park Embarassed 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

I had a similar thing with a sat nav tv dvd system in one of my vans, we had to connect a wire to ground to trick it into thinking the hand brake was on.

On the 2013 its more speed dependent, so its not a simple on off...its disable picture (not sound) below a certain speed (4 or 5 mph) Mike
