Some thieving gypsy has stolen the centre caps from my alloys grrr Twisted Evil grr I was only parked up for about thirty minutes. Anyway I now have to order some more. Are the centre caps off ebay all the same size, are they a standard fit.

They do differ, so best to check the size you need.
Endjin seems to be suffering from a similar problem like you too, clearly a good market for secondhand centre caps in Scotland Sad ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Im impressed they got them off without damage - ive only every been able to do it behind the wheel.

There are also 2 types - the Rand Rover ones and the black Land Rover ones from earlier models. Mike

There is a slight mark on the alloy.

They only got away with one. Parked in a decent area in Edinburgh.

I saw a set of replacement ones on eBay. They are black with range rover written on them, think they off the newer model.

My car has 20" stormers I think.

Sorry to see you have the same problem as me Rolling Eyes

I've lost 3 so far. I know what you mean about the mark on the wheel, the caps fit so tight that they need to use
something to lever them off. The marks on my wheels suggest a very small flat head screwdriver.

If you're caps are the ones with Land Rover wording on the Black Background then the part number is RRJ500030WYS

If they are Land Rover with green background then it's LR001156

If they are the new style with Range Rover and Black Background then it's LR027409

All of these part numbers are for a single cap (not a set).

You can buy them from your dealers parts dept or I tend to use LRDIRECT.COM

Here's a link to the LR Accessories page showing pics. (The standard ones on the wheels are the Sparkle Finish)

Thanks for that. I measured them and the hole is about 43mm in diameter, its the one that is silver with the green land rover symbol. Would the new black caps with range rover fit. Fancy blinging my wheels Smile.

Thanks

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

If your wheels are genuine LR stormers (20"), then yes they do fit. It is the newer style that say range rover on them that look as if they are a different fitment

Hmm......

I'm confused now. Is it possible for a direct swap between silver with green land rover logo to black with silver range rover on them.

Dam thiefs, grrrrrr

Probably yes

You can definitely swop the stand land rover badge with the - black land rover badge centre fitted on range rovers pre 12.

One question to ask - do you want to take all your wheels off?

If you have only lost one, the only sure way to replace the lot is remove the wheel and knock the centre cap out...thus allowing a matching set of 4

If you replaced the one you lost you can pop it in without removing the wheel Mike

Taking the wheels off is not an issue.

I plan on painting the hubs and silver and black as they are looking a bit tired for only being on the car three years.

Shocking quality to be honest on the hubs.

Might treat them too some nice shiny Brembo stickers.

Hope it doesn't look too chavy

I have all the pro gear and regularly switch a full set of tyres from road to off road muds on the other land rovers - its a complete ball ache, especially only to do for the centre caps - but if there are other reasons then go for it. Mike
