I have just bought my first RRS, its a 2.7 TDV6 HSE with the 2010 supercharged spec. Im very excited as I get to pick this up next week after the dealer does a service and mot. Probably wont sleep until it arrives!

In anycase, I've always found car forums very helpful with my previous cars and have usually been able to provide some decent technical feedback also.

If there are any RRS owners who happen to be in buildings/facilities management then pm me as there may be a very lucrative opportunity for us.

Hi all my name is Dave and I am very very keen to become a RR Sport owner but read regularly about expensive problems so are these vehicles a joy or pain to own and which model would you recommend and which to avoid ?

Welcome Dave.

Personally get as newer model as you can afford and make sure you get a warranty.
Some people have had pain free ownership, others a nightmare (see member sag ) but if you look around and spend decent money on the best car you can with a warranty, you should be ok.

Hey Ady, A selection of low key notable cars. After driving my new 2010 i seem to now be brainwashed. What a drive.
Fell in love after jumping in to a fellow friends 2011 RRS which pretty much decided everything for me. I love the general look of the car but must admit do like the larger 22' alloys but was told that its possible this size can effect multiple things. Is this correct?

I bought my first Land Rover, a couple of months ago.
It's a RRS MY 2007 in Java Black.
My other cars, Jaguar XJS Celebration and XKR 4.2L and a motor bike, Triumph Bonneville MY 2001.
I like english mecanics !

According to Land rover because no 22" wheels are approved by L/R But some dealers sell sports with them fitted and don't have any issues selling them, if you are having them fitted to yours check with your dealer first to see if they would have any issues should you have a warranty claim related to any suspension or wheel bearing failures, suspension on the sports are a weak point anyway I had them fitted to my previous model with no issues whatsoever
