So let me get this right, the concensus of opinions is that public sector jobs are a vocation and we should work hard and suffer whatever cuts are thrown our way. If we want more we should work just as hard building up companies and live happy ever after....

Jeremy clarkson thinks strikers should be shot and they have a gilt pension - this coming from a man on a million pound a year working essentially in the public sector ie, bbc - funded by licence fee/taxpayers

Lets put some facts in here about what is sustainable and probably why there is very little support from non public sector workers on this issue.

Mike - Not sure what point you are trying to make but the figures show that the current arrangments are not sustainable, the country is broke and does not have a pot to pi** in, people just need to suck it up and crack on.

My post states that local goverment scheme was exempt from the numbers, it is the others that are not sustainable and are you saying it is acceptable for said union leaders to enjoy employer contributions to their own pensions worth as much as 40% of their salary whilst everybody else is getting screwed over. |

Ah, yes you are right! Sorry , I meant to say most soldiers were too thick to get any other type of job!! Get a life, what I was saying is that most teachers, policemen AND soldiers chose their professions because they have a sense of duty/love for the job etc, and don't chose it for the money , which is why they shouldn't be ripped apart by money grabbing governments MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps! I didnt say you didnt...but its important to highlight As for the union leader point...i think its ok for anyone to, if that is the agreed terms or the "right" terms...in the same way its right for companies to offer bonuses to employees or pay awards to them Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |
