another consideration is the winter/autumn ambient temps....ie no air con every trip and better air temp for combustion |

OK - I've done the exact same change as the OP. Changed from 20" conti"s to 19" wintrac extremes and got the exact same result. My MPG display has changed from averaging 26mpg to now being 32mpg. I've only changed the wheels over this weekend so will report back in a couple of weeks.

Ive noted that the fuel heater can knock around 2mpg off depending on use Mike
