LR left a message that they can't find the problem so are removing more to check camshaft sensor fully is this in line with checking EGR?
Just that they started yesterday afternoon looking for fault, so assume going to be a expensive find either way.

I think it a case of process of elimination until they find the fault seen as it hasn't thrown any fault codes up

Had the same fault on my Discovery 3 TDV6, Faultmate confirmed it was the EGR valves, so I bought some blanking plates had them fitted the car was right as rain after that, and fitting blanking plates was a lot cheaper than the EGR's would have cost. BLACK RRS HST 3.6 MY08

Blanks are only possible on a pre 2007 model year!

Anyone any ides as the car starts up as it did when I dropped it in but runs rough with no acceleration
when you push the pedal, I find it unbeleivable that a car of this nature can just stop without warning.

Just thinking that but where do you go? Are they all going to stick together or do I use a specialist
or contact nearest LR Dealer

Sounds like your timing has slipped ask around try to find an independent LR specialists ask him to give it the once over or pick his brains tell him the symptons and ask your dealer to be a bit more specific of the failure. Good luck
