How can I solve the DPF problem and how can I remove it?

I have RRS TDV8 that has a big problem with the DPF so I would like to remove anyone know how I could do that?

Something poped out in the gauge that says DPF is full do you have a solution? Confused

and also do you now how to keep away from these problem Question

Hey guys!

Have also the problem with the dpf. after 40-50 km in the city this f Censored g thing is full! so, i need to drive 2x every week on the highway 40-50 km´s to clean it. Censored ! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad RRS TDV8 Modelyear 2009 with some modifications.

So one of the ways was mentioned by BS, just to drive once week out of the city to let the damn thing clean itself.
Another option to reduce the pain is to get sulphur free diesel (insider tip from LR) Whistle
The last, and it was my case, wait till you brake down number of times Twisted Evil and finally get the sensor inside the DPF exchanged and all your problems will be solved... Thumbs Up

Humoud, some countries get TDV8s without the DPF, so it can be removed, but you need a friendly dealer who will adjust the relevant software settings for the car. It doesn't have to be an official LR dealer, a specialst with Autologic or IDS can do it for you.

If the car is in warranty, just push the dealer to change the unit or at least the sensor inside the DPF.

If all else fails, exchange for a petrol..... Twisted Evil

Leo, technically it is possible and any skilled dealer will not have an issue doing it for you. Though,
I would be careful with that especially as it was my initial intention, but was warned by LR not to do it.
They firghtened me that I will loose the waranty... Big Cry

I can deactivate the DPF, soon i will have a public mapping soloution for the regeneration when my tests are complete.
